Mental health
In October each year we run our mental health awareness month, supporting our people to make better, healthier choices. We believe that good mental health is as important as good physical health and wellbeing. We therefore provide our people with resources and links to charities and organisations across the globe that can support them. We offer managers and colleagues practical tips on communicating with employees with mental health issues, and we are backing a campaign to help break down the stigma of asking for help at work.
We have an employee assistance programme in the UK and US that our people can contact, and we are looking at similar schemes in other locations, alongside trained mental health first-aiders on our sites.
We care about the wellbeing of our people, and continue to build upon the structured programmes and support we have in place. In 2023 we introduced new wellbeing learning journeys through our online training platform, available to all our employees. We have also focused on specific topic areas to provide additional education and support, for example on dealing with stress.
