Morgan is proud to join Women in Manufacturing (WiM), to help increase the influence of women in the manufacturing sector

We are pleased to announce that Morgan recently became a member of US based Women in Manufacturing (WiM). Established over a decade ago, WiM has grown to represent over 3,000 manufacturing companies across 65 countries.

Morgan was attracted to WiM due to their focus on supporting, promoting and inspiring women in manufacturing careers, through their resources and education. This ethos aligns with our own aspirations to be a caring organisation where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

Our focus on achieving 40% female leadership representation by 2030 was of high importance when we began our WiM membership. As they work towards ‘a world in which a diverse and inclusive manufacturing sector offers equitable opportunities and rewarding careers for all people’, we felt that they would be a great partner to us on our journey.

Our Women@Morgan employee resource group has laid the foundation for our community, connecting our people through webinars and site activities. WiM gives us an opportunity to reach all employees, and to allow those employees to connect with other women in manufacturing, in their communities.

Joining Women in Manufacturing is just one action we’re taking to focus on gender diversity at Morgan. To future support our aspirations, and support women in our field we are excited to attend herCAREER Expo 2024 in Munich.
