“Being recognised by Penn State not only celebrates the achievements of our partnership, but underscores our commitment to advancing materials science through our collaboration. Together, we are dedicated to pioneering innovation in high-performance carbon-based materials, nurturing talent, and contributing to the future of advanced materials engineering.”
Wendy Pryce Lewis, President, Performance Carbon Segment
Our partnership has continued to evolve. Earlier this year we signed a new five-year memorandum of understanding, further enhancing our collaboration. This agreement focuses on research and development in silicon carbide crystal growth for the wide band gap semiconductors sector, and we are proud to be a founding member of the Silicon Carbide Innovation Alliance.
We are enthusiastic about the future of our work with Penn State as we continue to foster the next generation of engineers and researchers. Together, we aim to advance cutting-edge materials science, delivering engineering innovations that drive solutions for our customers and create value across multiple industries.
Previous Penn State corporate partners include Ernst & Young, AB Volvo, General Electric and Bank of America.
“Morgan Advanced Materials stands out as a beacon of excellence in corporate partnership. Materials science and engineering has long been one of our University’s strongest areas of teaching and research, and over the past three decades, Morgan has made significant investments through philanthropy and sponsored research that have propelled us forward in this area. They also have shown a deep commitment to creating powerful educational opportunities for our students and fostering diversity in our programs.”
